Quiet and comfortable restaurant- feels like a mix of fancy eatery & cozy bar - Went for lunch with a friend a while ago . Had the schnitzel, salad, and burger. All very good - I was surprised to see schnitzel, beef stroganoff & Swedish meatballs on the menu. They looked amazing & I'd like to go back to try these other items. I had a cosmo from the bar @ my friend had a glass of wine . We decided we'd like to come one day for a wine tasting- they had a nice selection. ( maybe add some desserts too ) Service was very good. We had a wonderful waiter who took time to explain all dishes & options.
An email appeared from Vienna Wine Bar showing a Limited Availability lamb shank dinner item so I knew to hurry. Whisking myself and a family member into Vienna Wine Bar feels right because the atmosphere and food is just that good. What's more is wine is plentiful so choose it by the glass or by the bottle. A cool thing about ordering wine here is you are asked the follow up question of whether you'll be having a 6 ounce or a nine ounce glass of wine. Soups are homemade and I had to try the ham, turkey, and pureed Red Bean soup. It was good with a seasoning akin to chili which I suspect was smoked paprika. In my mind it was a terrific precursor to the star of the show Lamb Shank served with mashed potatoes, baby tri-colored carrots- purple, orange, and yellow- topped with a demi-glace sauce. The lamb meat was so tender and delicious. The only thing I added to it was a few shakes of salt. This place is good eating. It is a chef-driven restaurant. It is also good drinking with wine being the tip of the iceberg. Skilled bartenders can also mix your favorite cocktails and several impressive beers are On Tap. If you have room, the Apple Strudel a la mode is a favorite dessert here. Live a lot at Vienna Wine Bar, in Davie. On this visit we enjoyed live piano entertainment as it was a Friday night. Now closed Sunday and Monday but still serving lunch and dinner Tuesday thru Saturday.
I can recall two nights ago like it was just now. The service was a five star. The food was a five star. They had a bit of a weight, but it was understandable. The place was crowded. The server was amazing. The host was amazing and the management was wonderful.
We had dinner last night. Lovely ambience, not overly crowded, dim lighting. The beef stroganoff and veal schnitzel were out of this world amazing. Cheese board appetizer was also delicious. Service was excellent Terrific grown-up night out
I was scouting the area for a private room for an event. I believe I found it. The service is great. I did not eat, but I had a glass of wine, a Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc. Recommended by Jordan. Fantastic service.
Another great experience at Vienna Wine Bar. There's a new chef so the menu has changed slightly and the dishes will look different but I still liked it. The service was great. The ambiance was the same as before except for no more roses on the tables. They gave us a great dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Overall a really nice experience and would recommend that folks try them out.
This was our first time dining here in over 3 years, and it seems the interior has changed slightly but not by much, but it definitely feels more open. Our last visit was for dinner, but this time we came in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and we were the only ones in there for our entire meal. We sat at the bar, and our server/bartender, Amir, said it usually got busy closer to dinner time and it made sense because this is more of a dinner vibe place, but I'm here to tell you...go for lunch! The lunch specials were awesome! All for $20, we got the lunch special of a chicken schnitzel sandwich, cup of soup and salad - all half sizes and I was still stuffed! The soup of the day was a butternut squash bisque *chefs kiss* and you could choose between two salads. I got the burgundy caesar salad which was different and delicious. The entire meal was amazing and we ended it with some yummy espresso cocktails. Definitely recommend stopping in for lunch!
Cozy and Warm Wine Spot Went on a solo lunch date to treat myself and came across this little spot and decided to try it! I am so glad I did. The environment, the staff and the food were warm and delicious. Order: Breakfast Skillet: Grilled 6 oz New York with 2 eggs and a bagel **** This hits the spot for Egg and Steak lovers Crispy Vienna French Toast The warm jam really takes it to another level These were big portions so had to take some home! Special thanks to the waiter who was extra nice and gave me a new book recommendation!
